I've heard about Stan's donuts for a while now and finally made the trip out. These are probably some of the best donuts I've ever had. I was especially fond of the maple buttermilk donut. Everything was balanced without being a sugar bomb. The texture was perfect. Since I got there late in the day around noon so there weren't a whole lot of options left but the options I did have I really enjoyed. Also the apple fritter really was delicious. It's thin but the thinness is what makes it so delicious. I'm usually not a big donut fan because I don't like the greasey feeling and the heaviness of them. But these donuts don't have that they just seem fresh and lovely. I'm now a donut convert but only for Stan's! Next time I'll show up earlier in the day!
